You can put this solution on YOUR website!
E+=+P+%28+1+-+e%28y-1%29%29
Divide by P:
E%2FP+=++1+-+e%28y-1%29
Rearrange by addition and subtraction:
e%28y-1%29+=++1+-+E%2FP
Divide by e:
y-1+=++1%2Fe+-+E%2FPe
Add 1 to give y:
y+=++1%2Fe+-+E%2FPe%2B1
I hope this helps.
P.S. I am trying to start up my own homework help website. I would be extremely grateful if you would e-mail me some feedback on the help you received to adam.chapman@student.manchester.ac.uk
