To add up to 100%, the sausage must therefore be 13% venison.  
Since the sausage is 13% venison, and he used 65 lbs of venison, we can write 
65/t = 0.13 -> t = 65/0.13 = 500 lb, where t = the total amount of sausage 
Therefore, since the sausage is 50% pork, we have 
0.50*500 = 250 lb 
So he used 250 lbs. of pork
