Question 449679: Hello:
I need help with the following word problem:
A university reported that its enrollment increased from 11,934 students in 2006 to 12,228 students in 2007.
a) What is the ratio of the number of students in 2007 to the number of students in 2006?
b) From the result in part a, determine the growth factor. Write it in deciomal form to the nearest thousandth.
c) By what percentage did the enrollment increase?
I believe the easy part is part a which I have determined to be 1.025. I am stumped by the rest.
Thank you so much for your help.
