Hi,
Using the point-slope formula,
(5, 2) and
(-2, 1) m = 1/7
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y = (1/7)x + b
2 = (1/7)*5 + b
9/7 = b
y = (1/7)x + 9/7
