You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Identify the graph of the equation and tell whether it is linear.
---
y=1/3x
--------
It is linear with a slope = 1/3.
------------------------------------
Plot two points:
If x = 0, y = 0 giving you point (0,0).
---
If x = 3, y = 1 giving you point (3,1).
----
Plot and draw a line thru them to get:

Hi,
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y = (1/3)x Slope m = (1/3) and
y-intercept is (0,0) |m = 1/3: (y up1, x up3) (3,1) another point on this line
