5/(x+6) + 2/x^2 + 7x -3/x +5 =0
Multiply through by x^2(x+6) to get:
5x^2 + 2(x+6) +7x^3(x+6) -3x(x+6) +5x^2(x+6)=0
5x^2+2x+12+7x^4+42x^3-3x^2-18x+5x^3+30x^2=0
7x^4+47x^3+32x^2-16x+12=0
x=-1.34452...
Got this result by graphing using a TI-83 calculator.
