multiply by -1
x^2-16y^2+4x+32y+4=0
completing the square
(x^2+4x+4)-16(y^2-2y+1)=-4+4-16
(x-2)^2-16(y-1)^2=-16
multiply by -1
16(y-1)^2-(x+2)^2=16
(y-1)^2-(x+2)^2/16=1 (Standard form of given hyperbola)
This is a hyperbola with center at (-2,1) and with vertical transverse axis.
