You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Find the equation of a line containing the point (2,3) and perpendicular to the line 4x+3y=3

slope of given line = -4/3 , slope of line perpendicular to given line = 3/4
equation: (y-3) = 3/4 (x-2)
=> 4y -12 = 3x - 6
=> 4y -3x = 6

............................................................
Find the equation of the a line containing the points (3,4) and (4,8)

(y-4) = (4-8)/(3-4) (x-3)
=> y-4 = 4(x-3)
=> y = 4x -12+ 4
=> y = 4x -8
