You can put this solution on YOUR website! If 650 invested in stocks, and 400 invested in stocks and bonds, then 250 invested in stocks only.
650 invested in stocks, 550 in bonds, and 400 in both. Thus 650+550-400, which gives us 800, invested in either stocks or bonds.
If 800 out of 1000 invested in some way, then 200 didn't invest in either stocks or bonds..
