Take your choice:
write a whole number as an expanded numeral, using powers of 10. For example:
Whole Number Expanded Numeral Expanded Numeral using Powers of 10
5= 5 x 1 =5 x 10^0
56= 5 x 10 + 6 x 1 =5 x 10^1 + 6 x 10^0
567= 5 x 100 + 6 x 10 + 7 x 1= 5 x 10^2 + 6 x 10^1 + 7 x 10^0
5678= 5 x 1000 + 6 x 100 + 7 x 10 + 8 x 1 =5 x 10^3 + 6 x 10^2 + 7 x 10^1 + 8 x 10^0

So 30672 = 3x10000+0x1000+6*100+7*10+2
OR YOU MAY USE the following:
=3x10^4+0x10^3+6x10^2+7x10^1+2x10
