The graphing calculator on my computer shows this equation to be a parabola the open upwards. Its domain is restricted from [-7/4 to infinity) because of the radical in the equation. Other solutions:
vertex(2.250,-17.688)
x-intercepts (-1.521 and 6.327)
y-intercept -11.937
