Let x ft be the width
Let 2x+5 ft be the length
P=2(x+2x+5)
88=2(3x+5)
88=6x+10
6x=88-10
6x=78
x=13
2x+5
=2(13)+5
=26+5
=31
Therefore, the rectangle is 31ft by 13ft.
