Question 443681: I am having trouble with rationalizing denominators. Here is the question.
3sqrt2-5sqrt3/2sqrt3-3sqrt2
I get for the numerator 6sqrt6+9sqrt4-10sqrt9-15sqrt6 simplified to 6sqrt6+18-30-15sqrt6
for the denominator I get 4sqrt9 + 6sqrt6 - 6 sqrt6 - 9sqrt4 simplified to 4*3-9*2=-6
Where am I going wrong?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
nothing wrong so far

numerator reduces to ___ -12 - 9sqrt6

taking a -3 out of the numerator and denominator ___ (4 + 3sqrt6) / 2
