You can put this solution on YOUR website!
two motocyles travel toward each other from cities that are about 320km apart at a rate of 95km/hr and 65 km/hr. They started at the same time. In how many hours will they meet?
Add up the speeds
95+65= 160 km/hr
Distance = 320 km
time = 320/160
=2 hours

13km/hr__________________________________________
3. A car travels at a speed of 42mph. if it had gone 14mph faster, it could have madi the trip at a half hour less time. How far apart are he towns?
let distance be x
x/42-x/56= 0.5
56x-42x=0.5 * 42*56
x=84 mi
