You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use an example for the variables:
Smaller circle's diameter=2
Larger circle's diameter=3
Smaller Circle:
C=(pi)d
C= (pi)2
Larger Circle:
C=(pi)d
C=(pi)3
Circumference (C) of larger circle:Circumference (C) of smaller circle
(pi)3:(pi)2
Since it can also be written as a fraction
(pi)3/(pi)2
divide numberator and denominator by pi and get
3/2
OR
3:2
OR
3 to 2
