You can put this solution on YOUR website! How do you solve this word problem? One number is four more than a second number. Two times the first number is 8 more than four times the second number. ----------------
 Equations:
 x = y + 4
 2x = 4y + 8
 er----
 Multiply thru the 1st equation by 2
 and you get:
 2x = 4y + 8
 ----
 That shows the 2nd equation is simply a multiple
 of the 1st equation>
 ------
 There are an infinite number of solutions
 of the form (x,x-4) where "x" is any Real Number.
