Hi
Using the vertex form of a parabola, y=a%28x-h%29%5E2+%2Bk where(h,k) is the vertex
y = -3x^2 -4
1) parabola opens downward a = -3 < 0 Vertex Pt(0,-4) is a maximum pt
2) Line of symetry is the y-axis
3) relative to the the translation form the origin: down 4
