Hi
g(x) = highlight%28%28x-1%29%2F2%29
and f(x) = 2x + 1
f(g(x)) = 2(highlight%28%28x-1%29%2F2%29) + 1 |substituting g(x) for x
f(g(x)) = x - 1 + 1
f(g(x)) = x

.
f(x) = 2x + 1
f(g(x)) = 2(x/2 – 1/2) + 1
f(g(x)) = (x – 1) + 1
f(g(x)) = x
