-n = 6-2m
n = 2m-6
m+2p = 4
m = 4-2p
3p-n = 5
recall n = 2m-6 from above
therefore equation becomes
3p-(2m-6) = 5
3p-2m+6 = 5
3p-2m = 5-6
3p-2m = -1
from above m = 4-2p
substitute this into equation.
3p-2(4-2p) = -1
3p-8+4p = -1
7p = 7
p = 1
recall from above m = 4-2p
therefore
m = 4-2(1) = 2
from above n = 2m-6
n = 2(2)-6
n = -2
So in summary:
n = -2
m = 2
p = 1
