You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a rectangle has a length of (x+7)meters and breadth(x+3)meters. Show that the area, A square meters, of the rectangle is given by: A=x2+10x+21
.
Since area is length times width:
Let A = area
then
A = (x+7)(x+3)
FOIL the right side:
A = x^2 + 3x + 7x + 21
A = x^2 + 10x + 21
