Question 437598: Systems of equations can be solved by graphing or by substituting or elimination. what are the pros and cons of each method? What I got is-pros of graphing are: that are able to visually see the answer. Cons for graphing: harder to graph fractions.

what circumstances would cause you to use a different method?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
graphing not practical for more than two variables
scale of graph can affect accuracy

a calculated solution (S or E) gives an exact answer; is usually faster; and requires less equipment

deciding on S or E usually depends on the type and value of the coefficients

E is usually easier for greater numbers of variables (more than two)
