You can put this solution on YOUR website!
to find the median, you need to first list all the numbers from the least to the greatest:
23,27,33,68,72,77,85
Now you need to cross off the numbers starting from each end until you have the number which is in the very middle. so you first cross of 23. then you go to the other end and cross of 85; then you come back to the left end and cross off the next number which is 27; then go to the other end and cross off the next number which is 77; come back to the left end and cross of 33 and after 33 cross of 72. now you have only one number left. this number will be your median. so the median for these set of numbers is 68.
sometimes you have two numbers left over at the very end. in this case, you just take the average of both of these numbers. in other words, you add both of the numbers up and then divide their sum by 2.

Hey Sher,
To find the median of the following set of numbers,
first of all we set them in order of increasing magnitude
23,27,33,68,72,77,85
ok if the set is of a odd number(such as yours),then the madian is the middle number i.e (in this case) 68

23 27 33------68------72 77 85
