• 80 liked lemon lime.
• 68 liked cherry cola.
• 42 liked both types

d) How many did not like either flavor?
Answer by jorel1380(3719) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! If they liked one or the other, then total equals 80+68=148. 42 people liked both, so to avoid counting them twice, we subtract them:148-42=106. Since we sampled 125 people, and 106 liked either one flavor or the other or both, then 125-106 or 19 people liked neither.
