Find the following limit:
lim
x -> 3
2x^2-9x+2

Find the following limit:
lim
x -> 2
2x-1/3x+4
The equation part should be directly across from the lim, however this application makes that impossible. Thanks!!

To evaluate lim%28x-%3E3%2C+%282x%5E2+-+9x+%2B+2%29%29, note that the function is continuous and defined everywhere. We can substitute 3 to obtain lim%28x-%3E3%2C+%282x%5E2+-+9x+%2B+2%29%29+=+2%283%5E2%29+-+9%283%29+%2B+2+=+-7.

The second one is slightly ambiguous, no indication of whether it is lim%28x-%3E2%2C+%282x+-+%281%2F3%29x+%2B+4%29%29 or lim%28x-%3E2%2C+%282x+-+1%2F3x+%2B+4%29%29. In either case, both functions are continuous around that interval and you can substitute x = 2.
