Question 435113: I participated on a research that involves knocking on home doors to give out information about a product.
The idea was to complete 30 houses per square blocks in the neighborhood in 1 hr and 30 min with 9 teams of 3 volunteers, but instead it took 2 hours.
If I get 11 teams instead of 9 of 4 people each, how many houses could I cover in less time?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The idea was to complete 30 houses per square block in the neighborhood in 1 hr and 30 min with 9 teams of 3 volunteers, but instead it took 2 hours.
If I get 11 teams instead of 9 of 4 people each, how many houses could I cover in less time?
----
# of workers and time are indirectly related
w = k/t
27 = k/120
k = 120*27
k = 3240
---
Equation:
w = 3240/t
-----------
Let # of people be 11*4 = 44
44 = 3240/t
t = 3240/44
t = 73.64 minutes to cover 30 houses.
or 73.64 min/30 = 2.455 minutes per house
---
In 120 minutes you could cover 120/2.455 = 48.89 houses
