You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
We can clear the fraction by multiplying all terms by 4 and get
x - 2 = (x+2)/4 + 5
4(x - 2 = (x+2)/4 + 5)
4x - 8 = x + 2 + 20
4x - 8 = x + 22
3x = 30
x = 10
