If you mean to solve the equation:y%5E%281%2F25%29%2B5%2Ay%5E%281%2F5%29=0, we substitute
y%5E%281%2F5%29=x and after solve:x%5E2%2B5x=0, factoring the left side we have:
x%28x%2B5%29=0, thus the roots are x=0 and x=-5. Substitute again to find y:
y%5E%281%2F5%29=-5 => y=%28-5%29%5E5 and for y%5E%281%2F5%29=0, the solution is
the empty set.
