You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Length(L), Width(W), Perimeter(P) and Area(A)
L=W%2B2, therefore P=2%28L%2BW%29 where P=44
Therefore; 44=2%28L%2BW%29
opening the brackets
44=2L%2B2W
substituting L=W%2B2
44=2%28W%2B2%29%2B2W
44=2W%2B4%2B2W
44-4=2W%2B2W
40=4W
Thus, W=10 and L=W%2B2 will be L=10%2B2, L=12
Now the Area; A=L%2AW
A=12%2A10 which is equal to 120
Hence, the area of the rectangle is 120ft%5E2
