Question 433250: Can someone explain to me how the exact value of Sin^(-1) [Sin(-7pi/6)] is pi/6? I got -1/2...

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This is like:
What breed is the dog owned by the owner of the dog who is a Pekinese?
It reads:
The angle whose Sin is the Sin(-7pi/6)
It remains to show that +-7%2Api%2F6+=+pi%2F6+
+-6%2Api%2F6+=+-pi+
Now going -pi%2F6 radians more, I get a positive +5%2Api%2F6+
The Sin of this is positive, so I guess you can say it's the same
as an angle of +pi%2F6+. I sort of question it, but maybe it's
OK. Why isn't 5%2Api%2F6 a better answer?
