Question 432483: 1. If you start with $100 and add $3 every year then the function representing how much you have after t years would be"
a(t)=100+3t
compute: a(0), a(5),a(10),a(30).
Any help understanding this would be helpful. Thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Hi
starting with $100 and adding $3 every year: Amount after 't years':
a(t)=100+3t
a(0)=100+3t = 100+3*0 = $100
a(5)=100+3t = 100 + 3*5 = $115
etc...
a(10)=100+3t
a(30)=100+3t
