You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"8(4x-2)=4(8x-7) is the answer -12?"

8(4x - 2) = 4(8x - 7)
32x - 16 = 32x - 28 {used distributive property}
32x = 32x - 12 {added 16 to both sides}
0 = -12 {subtracted 32x from both sides}
= no solution

Whenever the variable disappears and you're left with a false statement,
then there is "no solution"

When the variable disappears and you're left with a true statement,
then there are "infinite solutions"
