You can
put this solution on YOUR website! I don't know how to type this so forgive me if its wrong
there is a small 3 and then a square root sign and inside that is -125
need help
That's not called "square root". It's called "CUBE root":
_____
∛-125
You have to think of a number that when used three times as
a factor, that is, CUBED, the product is -125.
By trial and error:
(-1)³ = (-1)(-1)(-1) = (+1)(-1) = -1. That's not it.
(-2)³ = (-2)(-2)(-2) = (+4)(-2) = -8. That's not it.
(-3)³ = (-3)(-3)(-3) = (+9)(-3) = -27. That's not it.
(-4)³ = (-4)(-4)(-4) = (+16)(-4) = -64. That's not it.
(-5)³ = (-5)(-5)(-5) = (+25)(-5) = -125. That's it!
So the answer is
_____
∛-125 = -5
