I am assuming they mean the positive square root
5%2A5+=+25 and
6%2A6+=+36
Since 26 is between 25 and 36, then
sqrt%2826%29 is between 5 and 6
Without using my calculator, I know that sqrt%2826%29
is slightly more than 5
5.1%2A5.1+=+26.01
That's OK to the nearest tenth
You wrote it correctly- sqrt(26)
