You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solution:Let = x cm the side of equilateral triangle, then its perimeter is 3x cm
As we know the height bisect the opposite side, and you can use the Pythagorean theorem to find the side:
%285sqrt%283%29%29%5E2%2B%28x%2F2%29%5E2=x%5E2, solve this equation.
75%2Bx%5E2%2F4=x%5E2
x%5E2-x%5E2%2F4=75
3%2Ax%5E2%2F4=75, divide both sides by 3
x%5E2%2F4=25,Multiply both sides by 4
x%5E2=100,
x=10cm
The perimeter of triangle is 3%2A10=30cm.
