Hi
the middle length side is 3 more than the shortest side,
and the longest side is double the middle length side.
Let x, (x+3), 2(x+3) represent the shortest, middle and longest lengths
Question states***
x + (x+3)+ 2(x+3)= 45cm
Solving for x
4x = 36
x = 9cm, the shortest. the middle length is 12cm and longest 24cm
CHECKING our Answer***
9cm + 12cm + 24cm = 45cm
