You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How can i find the inverse of the function
f(x) = x^3 -5 / x -3
---
1st: Interchange x and y to get:
x = (y^3-5)/(y-3)
---
2nd: Solve for "y":
y^3-5 = xy-3x
-----
y^3-xy+3x-5 = 0
-----
Comment: Solving that for y is no easy task.
The y will always be a function of "x".
----
Try graphing y = (x^3-5)/(x-3)
Reflect the graph in the line y = x
That is the graph of the inverse.
