Question 429486: I have this one type of problem I do not understand. I'm a junior in high school & i'm going over old material. The question states, "Determine the slope of the line from the equation that describes the line" y=6x and the second problem y=-3/7x I have a feeling if I figure out the first problem I can probably figure out the second one even though its slightly more complex because is a fraction. Thank You very much for your help!! Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! y=6x
compare this with the equation y=mx where m is the slope
m=6 is the slope. This is a line passing through the origin (0,0)
