· for ex: IF....
· 4/x -1 = 3
· 4/x = 4
· x = 1
· or this
· 4%2F%28x-1%29+=+3
· 3(x+1) = 4
· 3x+3 = 4
· 3x = 1
· x = 1/3
· One comes up with totally different answers.
Hope this helps to demonstrate how important the parenthesis are.
