Question 429208: Consider the sequence 8, 6, 3, –1, –6, ...

a. Find the next two terms of the sequence.
b. Write an explicit formula for the sequence.
c. Write a recursive formula for the sequence.
I did parts a and c and understand them, but I can't figure out how to write the explicit formula. I would really appreciate some help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Consider the sequence 8, 6, 3, –1, –6, ...
a. Find the next two terms of the sequence.:::--12, -17
-------
b. Write an explicit formula for the sequence.
I guess you have this.
-----------------
c. Write a recursive formula for the sequence.
a(n) = a(n-1)-(n+1)
