Question 4287: match the terms with the definition:
the term. the definition
y-intercept = 4, contains (-6, -1) A) y = (5/6)x + 4
contains (-1, -6) and slope = 0 B) y = (5/6)x
contains (-6, -8) and (-6, 0) C) y = (-1/4)x
contains (12, 10) and slope 5/6 D) y = -6x - 6
undefined slope and contains (-7, -8) E) y = (-1/4)x - 1
contains (8, -2) and (-4, 1) F) y = -3x
slope -3 and passes through the origin G) x = -7
contains (-1,0) and slope = -6 H) y = -6
contains (4,-2) and m = -1/4 I) x = -6
Passes through (-2,2) and (2, -10) J) y = -3x -4

You can put this solution on YOUR website! It is not hard to solve. Select one phrase on the left after another. For every phrase: Start with the slope. For a given slope, find the ones on the right with that slope being the coefficient before y.
Then, for every given point (x, y) plug in the value of x and compute y, into equations that match the slope.
As soon as you match a sentence on the left to the equation on the right, cross the equation out as you already indentified what it belongs to.
The "undefined slope" equations are of form x = number.
