You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x+2y=9.75 .............1
2x+5y=11.25 .............2

multiply (1)by -5
Multiply (2) by 2
-25x-10y =-48.75
4x+10y=22.5
Add the two equations
-21x=-26.25
/-21
x=1.25 hotdog cost

plug value of x in (1)
5x+2y=9.75
6.25+2y= 9.75
2y=9.75 -6.25
2y=3.5
y=1.75 hamburger cost
