Question 427945: In the diagram of triangle ABC shown below, BC=10 and AB=16. To the nearest tenth of a degree,what is the measure of the largest acute angle in the triangle?
*There's a right triangle. The top point is B; B slants to A making it equal to 16. A in the bottom right hand corner is with C. C which is where the 90 degree angle is goes to B which is 10.
Please help and thank you so much.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In the diagram of triangle ABC shown below, BC=10 and AB=16.
To the nearest tenth of a degree,what is the measure of the largest acute angle in the triangle?
:
Let's assume that B is the larger acute angle
then
BC = side adjacent
AB = hypotenuse
:
Using the Cosine which is side adjacent/hypotenuse
Cos(B) = 10%2F16
Using a calc Cos-1:
B = 51.3178 degrees
:
Find the 3rd angle (A) to prove this is the largest acute angle
180 - 90 - 51.3 = 38.7
