You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Suppose that the expression %28x%5E2%2B7x%2B12%29%2F%28x%2B2%29%5E2 represents the area of a rectangle.
Find the expression for the perimeter of the rectangle.
:
Factor %28x%5E2%2B7x%2B12%29%2F%28x%2B2%29%5E2
:
%28%28x%2B4%29%28x%2B3%29%29%2F%28%28x%2B2%29%28x%2B2%29%29
then A=L*W, therefore we can say:
%28x%2B4%29%2F%28x%2B2%29 = the length
and
%28x%2B3%29%2F%28x%2B2%29 = the width
:
P = 2(%28x%2B4%29%2F%28x%2B2%29) + 2(%28x%2B3%29%2F%28x%2B2%29) = (%282x%2B8%29%2F%28x%2B2%29) + (%282x%2B6%29%2F%28x%2B2%29)
