Question 426715: Hello, could someone help me solve these 2 problems?
I need a step-by-step as to how to put this in slope-intercept form (y=mx+b).
6x+6y=30

and

-3/2x+5/4y=15/4
Thank you in advance for any help, you don't even know how much it is appreciated.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

1) 6x+6y=30
=> 6y = -6x +30
=> y = -x + 5 (divide both sides by 6)
=> y = -x + 5
now, it is in slope- intercept form, slope = -1, y -intercept = 5

2) -3/2x+5/4y=15/4
=> -6x + 5y = 15 (multiply both sides by 4 to remove fraction)
=> 5y = 6x + 15
=> y = (6/5) x + 3
now, it is in slope - intercept form, slope = 6/5, y -intercept = 3
