Question 426191: Through a manufacturing error, three cans marked "regular soda" were accidentally filled with diet soda and placed into a 12-pack. Suppose that three cans are randomly selected from the 12-pack.
The questions and my answers are below ... I don't know if I am doing this correctly ...?
1. Determine the probability that exactly two contain diet soda?
C(3,2)/C(12,2) = 0.0455 or 5%
2. Determine the probability that exactly one contains diet soda?
C(3,1)/C(12,1) = .25 or 25%
3. Determine the probability that all three contain diet soda?
C(3,3)/C(12,3) = .0046

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Through a manufacturing error, three cans marked "regular soda" were accidentally filled with diet soda and placed into a 12-pack. Suppose that three cans are randomly selected from the 12-pack.
---
3 diet of 12
9 regular of 12
