tan x=2sinxcosx/1+cos^2x-sin^2x
Starting with the right side
2sinxcosx/1+cos^2x-sin^2x
1=sin^2x+cos^x
=2sinxcosx/sin^2x+cos^2x+cos^2x-sin^2x
=2sinxcosx/2cos^2x
=sinxcosx/cos^2x
=sinx/cosx
=tanx
confirmed: right side = left side
