please help me prove (2tan x/ 1-tan^2 x) (cot x- tan x) =2
..
(2tan x/1-tan^2 x)(cot x-tan x)=2
starting with left side,
=2tanxcotx-2tan^2x/1-tan^2x
tanx*cotx=1
=2-2tan^2x/1-tan^2x
=2(1-tan^2x)/(1-tan^2x)=2
verified: left side = right side
