The equation x+=+-2 represents a straight line parallel to y-axis and it intersects y-axis at (-2,0).

Whenever you have x = a number, with no y variable, it means a VERTICAL line through the point x=2. In other words go 2 units to the right on the x axis, and draw a vertical line.

Likewise, if you have y =2, this will be a horizontal line that is UP 2 units.

you have to plot X=-2..AS USUAL TAKE POINTS AND JOIN THEM
X=-2.......-2.........-2.....-2..........-2.....SINCE X HAS TO EQUAL -2 AS GIVEN.
Y...........0...........1.....2...........3.......ETC....
SO WE GET A LINE PARALLEL TO Y AXIS AT A DISTANCE OF -2 FROM Y AXIS.
