You can put this solution on YOUR website! Solution: From x-2y=2 we obtain x=2y+2, we substitute this value of x in the first equation: 2(2y+2)-3y=8, we solve this linear equation:
4y+4-3y=8 => y=4 Substitute y=4 in the second equation: x-2*(4)=2 => x=10.
Answer: The ordered pair (10,4) is the solution of our system.
Check:2*10-3*4=8 => 20-12=8 => 8=8
10-2*4=2 => 10-8=2 => 2=2
