Question 423323: Hi I was hoping someone can help me out with this word problem please:
In a triangle, the measure of the first angle is twice the measure of the second angle. The measure of the third angle is 76 degrees more than the measure of the second angle. Use the fact that the sum of the measures of the three angles of a triangle is 180 degrees to find the measure of each angle. Answer by sudhanshu_kmr(1152) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let second angle = x,
so first angle = 2x
and third angle = x + 76
sum of angles = 180
=> x + 2x + x +76 = 180
=> 4x = 104
=> x = 26
so, first is 52, second is 26, third is 102.
